Generations of Change
Fatherhood Workshops
This workshop series is open to all who identify as fathers in all constellations of families. The workshop will engage and connect fathers through an interactive and informative experience, promising to help them strengthen bonds with their children (of all genders) while supporting their ability to raise socially aware young people.
Fathers will discover the critical role they can play throughout their children’s social and emotional development; develop new strategies and skills to care for themselves as fathers; build connections with other fathers; and learn to communicate effectively, particularly on topics related to gender and sexuality.
Please let us know if you’d like us to present this workshop in your community—perhaps to a parenting group or parents’ night. New and expecting fathers may be interested in our regularly scheduled Boot Camp for New Dads. If you would like to be notified when our next Generations of Change is scheduled, please sign up here.
We also recommend Talking Dads, a collaboration between Maine Boys to Men and Birth Roots, as a space for fathers to connect with and support one another. More information about Talking Dads is available on the Birth Roots website.
