At the end of December, Heidi Randall, our executive director, and Jordan Hebert, our Training Institute program manager, were invited to present to 125 leaders from Maine Native community at the Fifth Annual Tribal Leadership Summit, hosted by Wabanaki Women’s Coalition. They spoke about teen dating violence, with Heidi’s integrated knowledge and insight on the topic leading to a rich and engaged Q&A. They also described our organization’s mission and programing and our recent work, sponsored by the Wabanaki Women’s Coalition.
It is an honor to continue to deepen our relationship with Wabanaki Women’s Coalition and Maine’s Tribal Communities. Earlier this year, members from all five tribes participated in a Training Institute and now can bring our youth violence-prevention programs into their own communities.
